Emily is an only child who lives in a big old house located on the edge of Rosewood Forest. She loves to spend hours playing among the flowers in her garden and exploring the forest around her home. How she longed to share her great adventures. One day Emily was sitting under her favorite pink rose feeling so lonely she began to cry. Suddenly she heard a fluttering sound above her right ear. Startled, she turned, and perched on a rose was a sweet looking tiny girl. "Who are you?" gasped Emily!
"I'm a Florafae fairy," the tiny tinkling voice replied. "Who are you?"
"I'm Emily. You're so little, and OH, you have wings!"
"Of course, silly," the Florafae fairy cried out merrily. "All fairies have wings."
Emily was astonished, but she was so delighted she forgot all about being lonely. "Are you all by yourself, too?"
"Of course not. I have lots and lots of fairy friends. You'll be seeing them too."
"How will I see them?" asked Emily, bewildered.
"Come with me and meet my friends. I'll show you where they live," said the fairy.
And that is how Emily from Ellenora Island discovered fairies. And they became her friends.
Treepixies live in Rosewood Forest among the many ancient trees that grow hundreds of feet tall. Wound tight around many of the oldest trees are tiny houses made from tree bark, leaves, and odd treasures the Treepixies find as they tumble and play in the forest. The Treepixies are the most mischievous of the fairies on Ellenora Island. They love to tease and their main delight in life is to play tricks on the humans and other fairies who live around them.
Emily's Fairies, Fairy, Treepixie Nymph Sculpture No.542 *Nelia* is intricately and delicately hand sculpted with polymer clay (she is one of a kind and comes straight from my imagination - NO mold is used) from the tip of her up turned nose to her little tiny Fairy toes ~ Nelia is 3 1/2 inches tall. Including wings she is 6 inches wide. Amazingly her wings are made with translucent material. Her Wings are flexible, you can pose them to your liking) and almost take longer to create then the Fairy itself with special attention to color and design - these wings are coated with a rainbow glaze. The wings are also detachable for easier shipping and added strength. Her eyes are carefully sculpted to show emotion and the "eye" itself is hand painted many shades of purple framed with brown angora mohair eyelashes applied one by one to create a life-like expression. Nelia has wispy shiny pale blond hair. Her hair is high quality angora mohair, hand-curled and handmade into a wig, applied lock by lock. All Fairies are numbered, dated, signed by the Artist and come with a Certificate of Authenticity, and the Treepixie story.
Nelia looked at Emily and asked, "Can you help me find my treasure? It got lost!"
